At a glance

On Wednesday 22-May-2013 the certificate used by Java applets in the Portal WebApproval and Project Manager UI will expire (Portal versions 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0). A renewed certificate is available. Site Administrators should contact their Agfa Support channel to have the certificate update installed on their Apogee Portal server.

The certificate is used to prove that the Java applet running within the Apogee Portal UI is an authentic applet build and released by Agfa.

When expired, a dialog window will pop-up and state the certificate's expiration.


Certificate Request in the Apogee Portal UI

Agfa has released an update of both certificate and applets. These need to be installed on the Apogee Portal server once the certificate has been installed, a user will get the following Certificate request when opening the Portal UI in the Browser:

To continue working with Portal, check the "Do not show this again for apps…" box and click the Run button.
For more info, select the 'More Information" link in the dialog window , this will show the detailed data of the new  certificate.
