What it does:

The Apogee Prepress action ap_Ready4InkSave v7.1.0 combines several actions which changes the PDF so that it renders correctly when using Apogee InkSave:

  • Disabling overprint for ICC based objects: the PDF specification specifies that ICC based objects cannot have overprint.
  • Converting NChannel objects in overprint to DeviceN objects: NChannel objects are more complex and can cause issues when using press repurposing and InkSave.
