Agfa Apogee Prepress 7 now offers the ability to instruct the remote digital queue to place the job on hold that is being sent over from :Apogee.
In the past a job sent from :Apogee would automatically start processing at the RIP of the digital press. This didn't give the operator of the digital press the opportunity to inspect, make changes, and choose when to print the job.

How It Works
Place the "Collect for Output" action between the "Digital Print Link" (a) and the "Digital Print Press" (b) task processor. This will instruct the remote digital queue to place the job on hold.
Why Is This Important?
With previous versions of :Apogee a job sent from :Apogee would automatically start processing at the RIP of the digital press. This didn't give the operator of the digital press the opportunity to inspect the job and/or decide when to print the job. With :Apogee 7 this is resolved.
